Micropigmentation of the lip as part of a permanent make-up treatment is a very good way to make the lips look fuller and more defined.

From lip blushing to nude lips to an expressive type-specific lip colour according to individual customer requirements, a lip PMU offers a variety of options that hardly leave any customer wish unfulfilled.
As a beautician you can also offer other treatments that can increase sales many times over – but you may be asking if they are particularly profitable?
Permanent make-up treatments are among the most lucrative beauty services, with lip pigmentation being one of the most expensive treatments with prices averaging £420 to £750 for new pigmentation. One major advantage of lip pigmentation is that even missing or no longer well-defined lip contours can be created that look absolutely natural. At the same time, the lip – especially with pale lips – can be given a natural, rosy-fresh colour and, if desired, the lips shine in the favourite lip colour.
Unevenness and asymmetries can be subtly corrected
Lip Blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup that enhances and defines both the natural shape and color of a client’s natural lips. It can also be used to help mask scars and imperfections of the lips and to create asymmetry.

The first procedure takes approximately 2-2.5 hours, the 6 week touch up is about 1.5 hours. And Lip Blushing will last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on your clients’ skin type, lifestyle and after care of their lips.
Permanent makeup is an art, not a science. Your results will vary and using lip liner, lip gloss or lipstick may still be needed, especially when wearing heavy coverage make up. This is not necessarily a no maintenance treatment, but a low maintenance treatment.
Study Method
You will be sent login details (via email) for you to access our Award Winning Online Education Platform. This houses your tutorial videos, eBooks and more. Your course can be completed on desktops, tablet or your mobile enabling you to learn anywhere.
Each course is structured into modules and units. Each unit has a video to watch, a clearly marked section of the eBook to read as well as and a set of multiple choice questions. Once you have completed the questions and get the desired pass mark the next unit will open for you offering a structure and guided way of learning. You can take the multiple choice questions as many times as you wish with full support from your tutor where needed. This guided way of learning ensures you gain and then retain the expert knowledge.
After you have completed all of the units in a module, that module will be marked as complete and the next one will open for you.
Assessment
Once you’ve completed the all important theory you will provide your tutor with case studies allowing your tutor to assess and provide appropriate feedback of your work. Similar to the theory, if you are required to upload a new set of images your tutor will work with you to ensure you achieve the standard required to earn your accredited certificate.
Course Outcome
On successful completion of the course, you are awarded with diploma certificates which are available to download and stored for you. You have lifetime access to the portal so you can return at anytime to utilise the tutorials, eBooks and downloads as a reference.
